On June 26 of 2009, the International Plastic Showcase of 2009 (NPE 2009) was successfully concluded in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Jing Cheng Times Group located at N77069 stand in the exhibition, along with its professional team, shared with new and old clients the achievement of Jing Cheng in recent years and the convenience brought by the latest extrusion technology.

Review of NPE
On June 26 of 2009, International Plastic Showcase of 2009 (NPE 2009) was successfully concluded in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Jing Cheng Times Group located at the N77069 booth in the exhibition, along with its professional team, shared with new and old clients the achievement of Jing Cheng in recent years as well as the outstanding technology and products of Jing Cheng. NPE is a plastic exhibition with the largest scale and longest history in America as well as the second biggest plastic exhibition in the world. Since 1946, the exhibition was held every three years. By now, the number of participants, area, scale and visitor numbers of NPE all keep stable growth.
During the exhibition, many new and old clients gathered at the stand of Jing Cheng and MAAG. While appreciating the precise technology of Jing Cheng, the clients also experienced the great craft of MAAG that is a world top pump manufacturer. Concerning the influence of the economic crisis on China’s rubber enterprises, Liao Zhengpin, Chairman of China Rubber Association flew to the exhibition in America to conduct market research. He also came to the booth of Jing Cheng and MAAG to discuss with Liang Bin, President of Jing Cheng Times Group about the current situation and future perspective of China’s rubber industry. Mr. Liao was also optimistic on the development for Jing Cheng Mould.

We have benefited a lot from the deliberation of this event in exhibition mode, achievement, the current situation of rubber industry, the perspective of China’s rubber industry.

Cooperation mode
It was a wise decision for Jing Cheng Times Group to cooperate with MAAG Pump in Europe. The joint effort that is made to achieve a win-win result will be persistently conducted in the future. As a global flat-cured hose supplier, Jing Cheng focuses on creating value for clients and is specialized in producing medium and high-class extrusion dies as well as screen changers. Cooperating with MAAG, a manufacturer of the top-class pump products in Europe, they have realized the perfect combination of flat-cured hoses and pumps while expanding the overseas market. And the success of this exhibition is closely related to the cooperation with MAAG. In the future, Jing Cheng Times Group will actively seek for the road to win-win according to the example of Jing Cheng and MAAG, in which the two of them seek partners together and realize a win-win situation.

Current situation and perspective:
Though many enterprises didn’t participate in the NPE exhibition, innovation, high-efficiency, precision and energy-saving are still the themes and spotlights of this event. The extrusion machine could have an extrusion margin of about four tons; the precision degree of products kept rising; some energy-saving extrusion machine can save 30% of the energy consumed; fast forming injection moulds that can form in three seconds, greatly elevating the production efficiency. American enterprises would test the equipment and experiment on craftwork and materials before producing the products to see whether they fit the machine. They would not start the production until the experiment is done. It is wise because it can lift the quality directly and save materials, a way to avoid waste.

Afterword: Like a polygon mirror, the exhibition can always reflect many problems for us to see the strength and weakness we have no matter whether the exhibition is a success or a failure. Though Chinese stands attracted a lot of visitors on the NPE exhibition, the quality gap between products made in China and made in America still existed. Furthermore, Americans were very committed and focused on their job. When you pass by their booths, you couldn’t help but walk in. The grand atmosphere of their stands could always make you stop and appreciate. Actually, making products represents a kind of state of mind. If the Chinese enterprises of extrusion plastic produce in the same state of mind as Americans when they prepared for the exhibition, the brilliance of China’s extrusion plastic is not far away.
